The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Jan. 12-18) is track & field distance runner Alayna Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan ran to victory in the 5,000 meters to highlight the Lady Jackets' performance in the Youngstown State Invitational on Friday, January 17 at the Watson and Tressel Training Site. Ackley was timed in 18:00.69 to win the event by more than 30 seconds.
