Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week (Dec. 6-12) for the second-consecutive week is basketball player Ashlyn Huffman. The 5-foot-6 senior guard from Columbus, Indiana helped the Lady Jackets to a pair of G-MAC victories as they improved to 3-1 on the season. Huffman tossed in 24 points  while adding five rebounds, nine assists and three steals in a 85-75 win at Ursuline on Wednesday, Dec. 9. She followed up with a 20-point outing to go with six rebounds and five assists in a hard-fought 87-78 win over visiting Malone on Saturday, Dec. 12. Huffman went 14-of-15 from the free throw line in the two contests.
