The Cedarville Male Athlete of the Week (Jan. 31-Feb. 6) for the second consecutive week is track & field pole vaulter Tommy Ansiel. The senior from Warrenville, Illinois won the pole vault event on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Tiffin Invitational by clearing 17-2.75 (5.25 meters). The effort automatically qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championship and currently ranks No. 1 in the country. It is the fourth-best mark all-time at Cedarville.
