The Cedarville Male Athlete of the Week (February 7-13) is basketball player Branden Maughmer. The 6-foot-3 junior guard from Chillicothe, Ohio averaged 22.5 points, nine rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3 steals in a pair of G-MAC victories. Maughmer fired in 27 points to lead the Jackets to a big 90-84 overtime verdict at NABC #6 Findlay on Monday, February 8th. He followed up with 18 points and nine boards in a 73-59 clamp down win against visiting Trevecca on Thursday, February 11th to push the Cedarville record to 8-5.
