Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Cedarville Male Athlete of the Week (Feb. 28-Mar. 6) is baseball pitcher Trace Gillis. The 6-foot-3 senior lefthander from Buffalo, New York pitched seven solid innings in a 10-2 win over Grand Valley State to close out the Jackets stay at the Tobs College Classic in Wilson, North Carolina on Saturday, Mar. 6. Gillis allowed one earned run on three hits with four strikeouts as the Yellow Jackets evened their 2021 record at 3-3.
