Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Cedarville Male Athlete of the Week (March 14-20) is soccer player Mauricio Ochoa Vazquez. The junior forward from Queretero, Mexico scored late in the first overtime to provide the Yellow Jackets a 1-0 result over Ohio Dominican in the spring season home opener on Saturday, March 20. Vazquez ripped an eight-yard bullet inside the right post with 31 seconds remaining in the first extra session to claim the victory. It was his eighth career goal at Cedarville.
