The Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week (May 2-8) is softball pitcher/first baseman Casey Berke. The freshman from Cardington, Ohio led the #8-seed Lady Jackets to a 2-1 victory over #1-seed Trevecca in the opening game of the 2021 G-MAC Softball Championship Tournament. Bertke homered in the top of the seventh inning, fired a complete game, struck out three and did not walk a batter in the contest held on Thursday, May 6 at the Marathon Diamonds in Findlay, Ohio.
