The Cedarville Male Athlete of the Week (May 9-15) is track & field pole vaulter Matt Julian. The sophomore from Lancaster, Pennsylvania won the pole vault competition at the Hillsdale 'Last Chance' Classic with a personal-best effort of 16-0.50 (4.89 meters) on Thursday, May 13 in Hillsdale, Michigan. Julian finished the week with a second-place effort of 15-5.75 (4.72 meters) at the Toledo Rocket Invitational on Saturday, May 15 in Toledo, Ohio.
