Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex
The Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex was opened for play in the fall of 2002. The eight-lane track that surrounds the game field was completed in the spring of 2004.
The lighted facility was built under the supervision of former athletic director Pete Reese. The soccer field is a 120 x 73 yard natural turf playing surface which includes an irrigation system.
The complex features.....
- Ample seating for 2,000 fans.
- Field level seating on the track for CU students.
- Electronic video/scoreboard.
- Fully-enclosed press box with wireless internet.
- Permanent concession stand and restroom facilities.
Yellow Jacket Field has been the site of several key post-season soccer matches. It was the site of the inaugural Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Championship in 2012. It also hosted the 2013 G-MAC Women's Championship and the 2014 men's tournament.
Cedarville hosted the NCCAA Midwest Region men's and women's championship matches in both 2003 and 2004 as well as men's championships in 2006, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association has used the site for post-season multiple times including the following matches.....
