PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - The Yellow Jackets stayed in the middle of the field at the NCCAA Championship finishing in a tie for 10th place at The Hombre Golf Club.
Cedarville posted scores of 312-320-314 in the 54-hole event. The Jackets' total of 946 tied them with Southern Wesleyan (S.C.). They were just two shots away from placing 8th.
The Master's (Calif.) won the 18-team tournament with 305-290-305-900. Malone was the runner-up at 292-314-304-910.
Ben Mounts had a solid tournament with rounds of 77-77-75. His 13-over par total of 229 tied for 16th overall.
Brigham Michaud was also in the Top 20. He tallied 77-80-74 to tie for 19th at 231.
Chris Bennington tied for 38th at 77-87-74-238 and Matt Yeiter tied for 71st with 81-80-91-252. Nick Bigler shot 83-83 on opening day but was forced to withdraw in the final round because of injury.
