WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Matt Krogstad followed up an opening round 80 with a one-under par 71 to tie for second place at the Taylor Invitational played at Purdue University's Birck Boilermaker Kampen Golf Course.

Krogstad turned in the second-best round of the day. His 151 total was two shots out of medalist honors.

Brigham Michaud finished 23rd at 83-77-160 while Matt Yeiter tied for 29th at 84-80-164. Ben Mounts tied for 37th (83-87-170) and Dan Atkeson was 40th (89-83-172).

The Yellow Jackets were 6th of eight schools with rounds of 330-311-641. They were 30 strokes behind champion Huntington, 318-293-611. [RESULTS]
