CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Ben Mounts moved up a spot on the leaderboard to finish 7th individually in guiding the Yellow Jackets to a 4th-place showing at the Campbellsville Invitational.
Mounts followed his opening-round 73 with a 75 for a four-over par total of 148 on the 6,510 yard par-72 Campbellsville Country Club layout. The weather was perfect under sunny skies after the players labored through cool, breezy conditions during the first 18 holes.
Brigham Michaud tied for 17th place at 78-77-155 while Chris Bennington was a stroke back with 78-78-156 to tie for 20th.
Nick Bigler shot 81-82-163 and Matt Yeiter tallied 85-83-168. As a team, Cedarville had rounds of 310-312 for a 622 total.
Cumberlands (Ky.) rolled to an eight-shot victory at 290-293-583. Rounding out the top three in the ten-team field were Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), 293-298-591; and host Campbellsville, 303-304-607.
