CEDARVILLE, Ohio - For the first time in the 30-year history of the event, the Cedarville University Men's Golf Invitational will not be played because of excessive rain and wet course conditions.

Nine teams were to have played the opening 18 holes at the Beavercreek Golf Club today with the final 18 scheduled to be at the Country Club of the North on Tuesday.

Seven other schools were slated to join the Yellow Jackets. The list included Indiana Tech, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Northwestern Ohio, Oakland City, Ohio Dominican, Otterbein, and Urbana.

Cedarville wraps up the regular schedule on May 5-6 in the American Mideast Conference Championship at the Apple Valley Golf Club in Howard, Ohio.
