WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Cedarville struggled during a tough two days at the Taylor Invitational and ended up in sixth place in the eight-team field.
Cedarville posted rounds of 319-335 for a 654 total at Birck Boilermaker Golf Course. All 36 holes were played in windy, chilly conditions.
Ben Mounts returned to the line-up after missing the last two tournaments with an injury. He paced the Yellow Jackets at 77-80-157 to tie for 11th place overall.
Matt Yeiter tied for 24th (79-84-163) and Brigham Michaud was alone in 26th (82-82-164). Trent Roach tied for 34th (81-89-170) while Chris Bennington tied for 41st (85-89-174).
Nick Bigler played as an individual and tied for 30th place (84-83-167).
Wheaton won the team title with scores of 297-312-609. Millikin was the runner-up at 310-303-613.
