HOWARD, Ohio - Brigham Michaud played well enough to garner all-league recognition and the Yellow Jackets ended their season with a fourth-place finish at the American Mideast Conference Championship.
Michaud turned in rounds of 71-78-76 for a nine-over par total of 225 to place 8th overall. The top 10 finishers and ties earn a spot on the All-AMC Team.
It's the seventh consecutive year that a Cedarville golfer has landed a spot on the All-AMC Team and the first time for Michaud.
NAIA #6 Malone cruised to the team title at the par-72, 6,946 yard Apple Valley Golf Course. The Pioneers finished at 866 which was 52 shots clear of runner-up Daemen, who had 918. Point Park was third (921) while Cedarville was fourth (930) in the eight-team field.
Ben Mounts narrowly missed out on all-conference recognition by two shots. He tied for 11th place at 77-74-79-230.
Matt Yeiter placed 19th with 76-80-79-235. Jacob Nafziger tied for 26th (86-79-78-243) and Chris Bennington was 32nd (83-80-87-250).
