UPLAND, Ind. - The Lady Jackets absorbed their first loss of the fall season with Taylor handing them a 6-3 defeat.

Cedarville won one of the three doubles matches. The #1 duo of Lily Schuler and Brooke Johnson posted an 8-3 result.

Johnson then improved to 5-0 at #2 singles with a 7-6, 0-6, 10-6 win. The Lady Jackets' other point came at #5 when Maryssa Herbert was at 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 in her match when her opponent withdrew.

Cedarville drops to 4-1 on the season. The host Trojans are 8-2.
