Box Score WINTER PARK, Fla. - Kayla Jenerette hit two free throws with 19 seconds left in overtime to give the Lady Jackets a 61-59 win over Mercyhurst to wrap up the Rollins Holiday Women's Basketball Classic.

Mercyhurst had one final chance. The Lakers missed a jumper with 2.8 seconds left, but the ball was tied up. Fortunately for Cedarville, the possession arrow was in its favor allowing the Jackets to essentially play out the victory.

Cedarville, who hit a season-high 10 three-pointers in the contest, needed back-to-back bombs at the end of regulation to force the extra session. Becky Orchard's fifth of the game brought the Jackets to within one point with 2:20 left and Raegan Ryan tied it, 54-54, with a long one at the 1:12 mark.

"I'm thankful we got the win," said CU Head Coach Kirk Martin. "I think part of the growth as a Division II program is to understand you have to play well on back-to-back nights.

“We used up lots of emotion last night (78-73 loss to #12 Indiana PA) and didn't have much left. We survived and it will make the rest of the trip much more enjoyable."

Orchard finished with a game-high 15 points for Cedarville, 8-4 overall. Jenerette tallied 12 points while Lauryn Robinson hauled in 11 rebounds.

The Lady Jackets are off until Jan. 7 when they play their Great Midwest Athletic Conference opener at Trevecca Nazarene. Mercyhurst drops to 2-7.
