Box Score URBANA, Ohio - Deborah Chandler scored 13 points to pace four players in double figures and Cedarville withstood a furious Urbana comeback to gain a 77-74 victory in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference road contest.

The Blue Knights faced a 16-point deficit at the 4:25 mark and trimmed it to three with 50 seconds left. Each team then had two possessions down the stretch and neither could score.

"I'm just really proud of our team today," said Head Coach Kirk Martin. "A complete team win.

"We were focused and set a great defensive tone early. The first 12 minutes was our defensive system at its best. We needed this one badly."

The Lady Jackets, 10-5 overall and 1-1 G-MAC, rushed out of the blocks to a 30-8 lead midway through the first half and settled for a 48-32 margin at the break. They pushed the spread back to 20 at one point in the second period.

Kayla Jenerette netted 11 points to join Chandler in twin figures. Deborah Gordon and Kayla Linkous each came off the bench with 10 points while Raegan Ryan dished out a career-high 10 assists.

CU shot 53 percent from the field to match a season-high. The visitors also controlled the boards, 45-27, with Lauryn Robinson hauling in nine.

Urbana is 6-12 and 1-1 G-MAC.
