CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville completed the road portion of the 2013-14 women's tennis schedule with a 7-2 verdict at Bethel in a non-conference match.

The Lady Jackets, 14-6 overall, finished the campaign 9-3 in contests played away from the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

CU led 2-1 after doubles. The #2 tandem of Lily Schuler and Courtney Heydt rolled to an 8-0 decision with the other point coming from #3 Maryssa Herbert and Kristen Heydt, 8-3.

Schuler needed three sets to win at #2 singles, 1-6, 6-4, 10-7. The Jackets then claimed the four matches below her all in straight sets.

Notching the wins were #3 C. Heydt (6-3, 6-3), #4 Joy Dice (6-0, 6-1), #5 Herbert (6-3, 6-4), and #6 K. Heydt (6-1, 6-1).

Bethel drops to 11-9. Cedarville is scheduled to host Central State on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
