RESULTSCEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville ended its regular season on a 10-match winning streak after defeating Asbury, 8-1, in a non-conference contest at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The Lady Jackets are 13-8 overall. They host the G-MAC Tournament on Friday and Saturday as the #1 seed.
CU enjoyed a 2-1 lead following doubles. The #1 duo of
Lily Schuler and
Courtney Heydt (8-5) and the #3 pairing of
Deanna Whalen and
Elise Perry (8-5) got the victories.
Schuler need three sets to win at #1 singles. The rest of the line-up were all victorious in straight sets.
The line-up in spots 2-through-5 included C. Heydt,
Maryssa Herbert,
Kristen Heydt, Whalen, and Perry.
