Maryssa Herbert has been selected as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference honoree for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.
It's the second consecutive year that Cedarville University has represented the G-MAC for the prestigious honor. Former women's soccer player Deanne Bradshaw was the 2014 choice.
Herbert is one of 147 nominees from all NCAA divisions in the nation. A total of 39 Division II student-athletes are on the list.
The top 30 nominees, 10 from each division, will be announced in September.
Now in its 25th year, the NCAA Woman of the Year Award recognizes graduating female student-athletes for excellence in academics, athletics, community service and leadership.
