CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Olivia Hoffman figured in on all three goals to spark the Lady Jackets to a 3-0 G-MAC result over Kentucky Wesleyan for their seventh victory in a row.
Cedarville, 11-5 overall and 10-2 G-MAC, remains in second place in the conference standings heading into Tuesday's regular season finale at Ohio Dominican.
Hoffman's cross in the ninth minute found the foot of
Rachel Wiggins, who tapped it in off the keeper for the first tally.
Mary Kate Wyer converted a penalty kick in the 52nd minute after Hoffman had been taken down in the box.
Three minutes later, Hoffman buried her team-high sixth goal of the season with Wyer assisting.
Allison Garlock stopped three shots and posted shutout number seven on the campaign.
Stinger Notes:
- Seniors Hannah Atkinson, Emma Conway, Allison Garlock, and Bex Velloney were honored prior to kickoff.
- Cedarville outshot the visitors 16-6 overall and 9-3 on goal.
- The Lady Jackets have already guaranteed themselves a first round home game in the G-MAC Tournament on Nov. 9.
- Garlock's shutout was the 20th of her career - second on the schools' all-time list.
- CU leads the all-time series vs. Kentucky Wesleyan, 8-5-1.
