CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville University Head Men's Basketball Coach
Pat Estepp has joined the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Board of Directors.
"I am very thankful to be a part of this board," said Estepp. "I appreciate the recommendation from Lennie Acuff (Lipscomb University) and Matt Margenthaler (Minnesota State University). It's a great opportunity for me to learn and for our program to have a representative on it."
The 23-member board is the governing body of the NABC consisting of coaches and athletic administrators.
Estepp is an NABC Division II congressman and is one of just two DII coaches in the group along with Margenthaler.
Estepp has guided the Yellow Jackets to 202 victories in his 11 years as head coach including a pair of NCCAA national titles.
His 2018-19 club finished 21-12 overall and placed fourth in the G-MAC with a 14-6 slate. CU advanced to the conference tournament semifinals prior to winning the NCCAA Championship.
Since its beginning, the NABC has continually worked to further the best interests of the game of basketball as well as the players and coaches who participate in the sport.
The largest professional association of basketball coaches, the NABC currently claims a membership of nearly 5,000 men's basketball coaches throughout the ranks of the NCAA, NAIA, junior and community colleges and high school.
