CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets came out sizzling from the field and kept their home unbeaten string in tact with an 87-72 G-MAC result over Tiffin.
Cedarville, 12-5 overall and 5-3 G-MAC, won for the 21st consecutive time at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Jackets blitzed to a 9-0 lead with a trio of three-pointers and never looked back. They hit six-of-seven from deep in the first quarter in building a 25-13 lead.
Emily Chapman paced four players in double figures with 20 points to go along with four assists and two steals.
Abby Wolford had 14 points and
Paige Garr came off the bench with 12.
Ashlyn Huffman tallied a double-double of ten points and ten assists.
Stinger Notes:
- The Jackets shot .541 from the field - their second-highest percentage of the season.
- The 11 three-pointers marks the eighth time CU has made at least ten in a game.
- Six different players made a shot from beyond the arc.
- Garr's 12 points matched her career-high (Bellarmine).
- Huffman registered her second double-double in three games (Findlay).
- Wolford scored in twin figures for the eighth straight time.
- It's the only regular season meeting with Tiffin.
- Cedarville leads the all-time series, 31-17.
