NORTH CANTON, Ohio -
Isabelle Bolender's first career double-double coupled with torrid three-point shooting propelled Cedarville to a convincing 90-71 win at two-time defending G-MAC champion Walsh.
The Lady Jackets, 5-1 overall and 5-1 G-MAC, take a five-game winning streak into the Christmas break.
The host Cavaliers, who entered the contest having posted 26 consecutive victories overall and 27 in a row on their home court, fall to 3-1 overall and 3-1 G-MAC.
Bolender finished with career-highs of 24 points and ten rebounds.
Ashlyn Huffman came through with 19 points and eight assists while
Emily Chapman netted 14 points in her first start of the season.
The Jackets were on fire from beyond the arc by drilling 16-of-23 shots. They buried 9-of-10 in the second half including all six of their attempts in the fourth quarter.
Cedarville exploded on a 15-point run to end the third quarter and begin the fourth to build a 65-48 lead. The difference was as much as 86-64 with 3:12 left when Huffman made the team's 16th and final triple.
