CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Ashlyn Huffman racked up 24 points and nine assists as the Lady Jackets pulled away in the second half for an 85-75 G-MAC victory at Ursuline.
Emily Chapman came off the bench to pop four three-pointers en route to 16 points for Cedarville, 2-1 overall and 2-1 G-MAC.
Isabelle Bolender totaled 14 points and eight rebounds while
Allison Mader chipped in 13 points.
The visitors took a 44-43 halftime lead and expanded it 58-46 midway through the third quarter, but the Arrows scratched back to within three entering the fourth.
Back-to-back three-pointers by Bolender capped a nine-point spurt for a 77-65 spread with 3:30 remaining.
Stinger Notes:
- Lexi Moore pulled in a career-high nine rebounds.
- It's the first time Huffman has logged three consecutive 20-point games in her career.
- Bolender and Mader have both scored in twin figures in every contest.
- Chapman is 7-for-13 from deep with 28 total points in her last two outings.
- Cedarville has forced the opponent into more turnovers in all three games (32-49).
- Ursuline is scheduled to visit the Callan Athletic Center on January 20.
