Branden Maughmer produced his second straight double-double as the Yellow Jackets edged G-MAC newcomer Ashland, 74-71, at the Callan Athletic Center.
Maughmer registered 27 points and 10 rebounds for Cedarville, 4-3 overall and 2-0 G-MAC, and winners of three straight.
The 6-3 senior guard was 9-for-10 from the field, 2-for-2 from deep, and hit 7-of-8 free throws.
With the score deadlocked 65-65, the Jackets went 9-for-12 at the stripe in the final three minutes to seal the outcome.
Kollin Van Horn scored 13 points while
Isaiah Speelman came off the bench with 10.

- In the last three games, Maughmer is averaging 27 points and eight rebounds with a .674 field goal percentage.
