HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - WBCA Division II No. 11 Ashland pulled away in the second half to down Cedarville, 79-52, in a G-MAC contest played in the Callan Athletic Center.
The tone was set when All-G-MAC First Team guard
Isabelle Bolender left the game early in the first quarter and did not return.
She joined starting center
Makenna Fee and key reserve
Anne Wheeler on the sidelines who were injured in the third game of the season.
The visiting Eagles took advantage by shooting 52 percent in the last two quarters while the Lady Jackets hit on just 9-of-34 shots (.265).
Emily Chapman scored 16 points for Cedarville, 4-2 overall and 1-1 G-MAC.
Lydia Sweeney came off the bench with a career-high 12 points.

- Allison Mader had eight points, a career-high seven rebounds, and three steals.
- Lexi Moore's three blocked shots set a career high.
- Bolender, Fee, and Wheeler account for 30 points and 11 rebounds per game.
- Ashland is in its first G-MAC season after moving over from the GLIAC.
- The Eagles lead the all-time series, 18-11.
- The two sides play again at Ashland on January 22.
