NORTH CANTON, Ohio -
Nick Marculo scored the game winner and assisted on the equalizer to spark Cedarville to a 2-1 G-MAC victory at Walsh to begin the spring campaign.
Brett Vaughn slipped a pass to Marculo on the right side of the penalty area and he beat the Cavs' keeper with a low shot to the far post.
Walsh got on the board first in the 59th minute and the Jackets needed just a little more than two minutes to level the match.

Pedro Alvares in the 61st for CU's first goal of the season.
Jared Zacharias got the start in goal and made four saves.
Stinger Notes:
- Cedarville outshot the hosts 20-7 overall and 12-5 on goal.
- It was the Jackets' first game since Nov. 23, 2019 at Bellarmine in the NCAA Super Regional Second Round.
- The Cavs were whistled for more fouls (17-10) and more cautions (4-1).
- The two schools have played each other in men's soccer 52 times with Walsh leading, 25-21-6.
