CHAMPIONSHIP INFO
FINDLAY, Ohio - No. 2 seed Hillsdale eliminated No. 8 Cedarville from the G-MAC Softball Championship, 8-0, at Marathon Diamonds.
The Lady Jackets complete their season with a 21-22 record.
The two-time defending champion Chargers scored four times in the first inning and two more in the second to take command.
Cedarville managed only two hits on the day - a single in the first by
Arica Flaugher and another single in the second off the bat of
Bella Ross.
Hillsdale stroked nine hits including three for extra bases.
Stinger Notes:
- CU totaled three runs scored and 13 hits in three tournament games.
- The Lady Jackets have qualified for all eight G-MAC Championships ever played.
- Hillsdale leads the all-time series, 6-3.
