CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Former Yellow Jacket All-Americans Kelsey (Jones) Carter, Kari (Flunker) Hoffman, and Jason Scott will be inducted into the Cedarville University Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday.

KELSEY (JONES) CARTER - Women's Volleyball

Carter was the driving force behind the success of Lady Jacket volleyball during her career from 2002 through 2005 and remains the program's all-time leader in assists with 6,662.
The Cedarville High School product guided CU to a record of 148-47, the 2005 NCCAA Championship, two NAIA Region IX titles, and two American Mideast Conference trophies.
Carter was named the 2004 NCCAA National Player of the Year, 2005 NCCAA National Tournament MVP, 2005 NAIA Region IX Player of the Year, 2005 AMC Player of the Year, and was selected to the 2005 NAIA All-America Second Team.
Kelsey and her husband, J.P., reside in Summerville, S.C. with their two daughters.
She works at the Allegro Charter School of Music teaching 6th-through-12th grade physical education and health. Additionally, she is a volunteer assistant varsity volleyball coach at Northwood Academy.

KARI (FLUNKER) HOFFMAN - Women's Basketball

Hoffman was a key figure during her basketball career from 2001 through 2005 elevating Lady Jacket basketball to becoming a perennial NAIA Division II power.
During that timespan Cedarville posted an incredible 124-18 record while winning three AMC Championships and bringing home a pair of NAIA Division II National Runner-Up finishes.
Hoffman, a native of Florence, Wis., is the program's second all-time leading scorer (2,275) and is the all-time leader in three-pointers made (338), three-point percentage (.458), and assists (644).
She was a three-time NAIA Division II All-American and was twice named to the NAIA National All-Tournament Team.
Hoffman was voted the 2005 NCCAA National Player of the Year, was a two-time NCCAA Midwest Region Player of the Year, and a two-time AMC Player of the Year.
She served as head coach of the CU women's basketball program from 2016-21 piling up a 106-38 record, two G-MAC regular season titles, and a trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament. She was a two-time G-MAC Coach of the Year.
Kari and her husband, Jimmy, reside in Springfield, Ohio with their three children. She is currently the head women's basketball coach at Wright State University.

JASON SCOTT (Men's Track & Field)

Jason Scott graduated as the most decorated pole vaulter in Cedarville's track & field history following his career from 2004 through 2007.
A resident of Clayton, Ohio, he was a three-time NAIA National Champion winning the outdoor title in 2004 and indoor crowns in both 2006 and 2007.
Scott was a four-time NAIA Indoor All-American and a two-time Outdoor All-American.
He led the Yellow Jackets to the 2006 and 2007 NCCAA Indoor Championships. He was the 2006 NCCAA National Outdoor Outstanding Performer of the Meet.
Jason and his wife, Bethany, reside in Black Mountain, N.C. with their two sons. He is currently the cross country/track & field assistant coach at Montreat College.
