Cedarville goes cold in visit to KWC

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Kentucky Wesleyan held the Lady Jackets to their lowest offensive output in more than five years during a 71-34 outcome in a G-MAC contest staged at the Sportscenter.

Cedarville shot a season-low 25.5 percent from the field and made just one three-point basket in seeing its three-game winning streak halted.

Emily Chapman scored nearly half of the team's points with 16 for the Jackets, 8-4 overall and 3-3 G-MAC.

The Panthers used a ten-point run late in the second quarter en route to a 35-15 margin at the break.

KWC shot 56 percent in the second half to pull away with the final score being the largest advantage.

Stinger Notes:
  • Lexi Moore had a team-high six rebounds.
  • Chapman has scored in double figures in 11 consecutive games.
  • It was the fewest points scored since a 67-35 loss to Ohio Dominican on 11/12/16 in the G-MAC/GLIAC Challenge at Ashland.
  • The all-time season series is even at 10-10.
  • The Panthers visit the Callan Athletic Center on February 3.
