HIGHLIGHTS   |  REGIONAL INFO

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - No. 6 seed Ferris State withstood a furious comeback by the No. 2 Lady Jackets for a 3-1 win in the Midwest Regional second round of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship.

Cedarville ends the campaign 17-4-1 in setting a single-season record for victories.

The Bulldogs scored midway through the first half and then made it 2-0 in the 81st minute.

The Jackets responded just 41 seconds later when Mary Kate Wyer drove a ball through traffic that ricocheted off two defenders and into the net. Aleah Martone had the assist.

Addie Erslan's header less than a minute after that was denied on an incredible save by the FSU keeper.

With the CU defense pressing forward, Ferris accounted for the final on another tally with 1:14 left on the clock.
