HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Wisconsin-Parkside recovered from a double digit hole in the second half to defeat Cedarville, 71-64, in a non-conference tilt at the Callan Athletic Center.
Anne Wheeler registered 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists for the Lady Jackets, 2-8.
Lydia Sweeney and
Kat Weakley scored 12 points apiece while
Taylor Stacy chipped in nine.
Cedarville expanded a six-point halftime lead to 41-29 with 6:20 left in the third quarter.
The Rangers finished the period on a 20-5 run and then took command by scoring eight of the first ten points in the fourth quarter.
Stinger Notes:
- Stacy hit 3-of-4 shots from outside the arc.
- The Jackets made ten triples as a team; the sixth time they've hit at least ten.
- Parkside controlled the boards by a 44-28 margin.
- Cedarville did not attempt a free throw in the first half.
- The all-time series between the two schools is tied at one win apiece.
- The initial meeting was on Nov. 10, 2017 with the Jackets winning, 90-78, at home.
