PAINESVILLE, Ohio -
Paige Garr poured in a career-high 27 points, but Lake Erie handed Cedarville a 75-70 G-MAC setback at the Osborne Center.
The Storm outscored the Lady Jackets 44-36 in the final two quarters shooting .556 from the field and making 11-of-13 free throws.
Garr tied a school record for three-point accuracy held by three others by going 5-for-5 from beyond the arc.
Taylor Strock added 11 points for Cedarville, 2-4 overall and 1-1 G-MAC.
Stinger Notes:
- Garr was 9-for-12 from the field overall and 4-for-4 at the line.
- Lake Erie outscored CU 33-20 over the final 15 minutes.
- There were six tie scores and 12 lead changes.
- The Lady Jackets hold a 15-1 margin in the all-time series which began in 1990-91.
- The rematch in the Callan Athletic Center is January 21.
