HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets drilled a season-high 15 triples and put the clamps down on Kentucky Wesleyan to the tune of 83-51 at the Callan Athletic Center.
Quinton Green led a dozen players in the scoring column with 21 points for Cedarville, 12-8 overall and 8-5 G-MAC.
Isaiah Speelman came off the bench with 12 points.
Branden Maughmer contributed 11 points and five assists.
Eight different Yellow Jackets made a three-point basket as the team finished 15-of-28 (.536) from deep. Green led the aerial show with five treys.
The defense held the Panthers to 32.8 percent shooting - the lowest mark by an opponent this season.
Stinger Notes:
- Green had his first 20-point game since pumping in 22 at Grand Valley State on Nov. 20.
- Cedarville never trailed and built the lead to as much as 74-36 with 6:55 to go.
- Nine separate players handed out an assist as part of the team's total of 20.
- All 13 players in uniform played and every one grabbed at least one rebound.
- The Yellow Jackets have beaten KWC six consecutive times.
- Kentucky Wesleyan continues to lead the all-time series, 10-7.
