CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Wittenberg opened its women's tennis campaign with a 5-2 non-conference win over Cedarville at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The visiting Tigers took the doubles point, but No. 3
Calista Bobula and
Joelle Petek breezed to a 6-0 win.
The twosome picked up points in singles as well for the Jackets, 1-2 overall.
Bobula played in the No. 4 position (6-3, 6-1) while Petek was at No. 6 (6-1, 6-1).
CU finishes the fall portion of the schedule with upcoming matches at Ohio Northern and Shawnee State.
