CEDARVILLE, Ohio - A pair of former Yellow Jacket All-Americans, women's pole vaulter Rachael Castro Oren and men's golfer Scott Aker, were inducted into the Cedarville University Athletic Hall of Fame.
They were recognized at the Alumni Honors Dinner at the Stevens Student Center as part of Homecoming Weekend.
RACHAEL CASTRO OREN - Women's Track & Field (2002-05)

Oren was a trailblazer in the pole vault during her four-year Lady Jacket career.
The Clarks Summit, Pa. product enjoyed success as a three-time NAIA All-American outdoors and two more times indoors.
Additionally, she was a five-time NCCAA All-American in the event - three times indoors and twice outdoors.
Oren still holds the indoor school record at 13-feet even set at the 2005 NCCAA Championship. Her best outdoor mark was 12-6 established at the 2005 Cincinnati Relays.
Rachael and her husband, Jon, a former Yellow Jacket baseball player, reside in Anderson, Ind. with their five children.
She is the founder and Head of School of Classical Academy in Indianapolis - a Christian school for grades pre-K through high school.

SCOTT AKER - Men's Golf (2006-07)

Aker had a profound impact in Yellow Jacket golf upon transferring from nearby Wittenberg University.
A native of Springfield, Ohio, he immediately became Cedarville's No. 1 golfer and set the school's single-season scoring record of 73.61 in his first year.
Aker broke the program's mark for 18 holes when he carded a five-under par 67 in the Ohio Dominican Classic.
He graduated as the Jackets' all-time leader in scoring average at 74.72 strokes per 18 holes.
Aker was a two-time NCCAA All-American, was twice named to the PING NAIA All-Region Team, and was a two-time NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
Scott and his wife, Libby (Short), who is a former Lady Jacket volleyball player, reside in Springfield with their four sons.
He is a lieutenant in the Ohio State Highway Patrol where he has served for 13 years.
