Lady Jackets gut out key G-MAC win vs. Walsh

HIGHLIGHTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Megan McClish scored both goals and Brooke Ackley came up big in goal to lead Cedarville to a 2-1 G-MAC victory against Walsh.

The defending regular season champion Lady Jackets improved to 8-3 overall and 5-2 G-MAC.

The hosts struck first in the ninth minute when Maya Ryder hooked a corner kick that came down near the goal line and McClish deflected it in mid-air.

The Cavaliers, who outshot CU 10-3 in the first half, leveled the match in the 24th minute.

McClish converted a penalty kick in the 68th minute for her sixth goal of the campaign after Addie Erslan had been taken down in the box.

Ackley made a season-high eight saves while the back line came up with another save.
