ASHLAND, Ohio - Midwest Region top seed Ashland knocked out No. 5 Cedarville, 2-0, in a NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship Second Round contest at Ferguson Field.
The United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 2 Eagles improved to 19-0-4.
The Lady Jackets end the campaign at 16-5-1 following a repeat appearance in the NCAA second round.
The hosts got the goal they needed in the 20th minute and tacked on the second one in the 64th.
AU outshot Cedarville 14-9 overall and 4-3 on goal. The visitors had a 7-6 shot advantage in the second half.

- CU netted one of those goals (Seren Johnson) in a 3-1 regular season road setback to the Eagles.

- Cedarville has made three consecutive appearances in the NCAA Championship.
