Jackets fall at Walsh despite Wheeler’s career night

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Anne Wheeler poured in a career-high 23 points, but Walsh held off Cedarville, 69-62, at Alumni Arena.

Kat Weakley totaled 18 points and Lydia Sweeney added 14 for the Lady Jackets, 7-18 overall and 5-14 G-MAC.

The host Cavaliers took a 12-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and kept the difference at single digits until going up 69-59 with 1:17 remaining.

Wheeler drained a three-pointer in the final seconds to account for the final.
