CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Kady Monson is the Cedarville University tennis assistant coach beginning with the 2023-24 academic year.
She will be working alongside her husband, Karl, who was named the head coach of both the men's and women's programs.
Kady possesses more than 25 years of tennis experience as a teaching professional, instructor, and coach.
She also spent more than two decades in middle school and high school classrooms as a mathematics teacher.Â
Most recently, she was a teacher and co-ed varsity head tennis coach at Schaeffer Academy in Rochester, Minn. from 2012 through 2023.
Monson was a four-year letter winner during her collegiate career at Division III Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 1993 through 1996 where she earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics.
She paced the Blugolds to four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships which featured her winning three league singles titles and two doubles crowns.
Kady was inducted to both the UW-Eau Claire Hall of Fame and Mounds View (Minn.) High School Hall of Fame in 2010 for her tennis accomplishments.
The Monsons have five children and reside in Fairborn. Their oldest child, Faith, is a sophomore tennis player for the Lady Jackets.
