CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets erupted for eight goals in the second half and rode the wave to a 9-0 rout of non-conference foe Boyce.
Jackson Isaacs scored twice,
Jackson Baker tallied a goal and an assist, and
Jake Johnson assisted twice for Cedarville, 2-1.
Michael Payne opened the scoring in the ninth minute when he finished off Johnson's corner kick.
It remained 1-0 until
Michael Catanzarite netted his first goal as a Yellow Jackets just 24 seconds after intermission.
Caleb Knight,
Benjamin Carman,
Maximus Cerulla, and
Zac Brooks also scored.
Eben Dewhurst played the first 70 minutes in goal and teamed up with
Kristian Figueroa to secure the team's second shutout in three games.
