Reed is at 69-75-144 (E) and is four shots off the lead at the Hammock Beach Resort Conservatory Course.
Nathan Bardwell is tied for third following rounds of 70-76-146 (+2).
Aiden Hibbard bounced back with one of the best rounds of the day and is tied for 20th at 83-71-154 (+10).
Daniel Bailey stands at 79-79-158 and
Danny DeHimer shaved 11 shots off of his opening round and has 91-80-171.
Defending champion Wayland Baptist (581) has opened up an 18-shot lead with 18 holes remaining.
Bethel (599), Columbia International (601), Cedarville (602), and Jessup (605) are bunched up in the next four spots.
