Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Lady Jackets play No. 3 Ashland to 0-0 stalemate

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville extended its unbeaten string to six by holding G-MAC leader Ashland to a scoreless draw.

It was the fourth consecutive clean sheet for the Lady Jackets, who are 5-0-1 with one goal allowed since a 1-0 setback at AU on Oct. 5.

The United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 3 Eagles were blanked for just the third time this fall while recording their 12th shutout.

Ashland outshot CU 8-7 overall and 3-0 on goal at rainy Yellow Jacket Field.

Brooke Ackley made three saves with the Lady Jacket defense having not allowed a goal for 389 consecutive minutes.

The outcome ended a five-game losing streak to Ashland and was the first 0-0 draw since Trevecca visited for the 2023 Homecoming game.

Cedarville, 9-4-3 overall and 8-2-2 G-MAC, hosts Tiffin on Senior Day in the final regular season home game on Saturday.
