Carman, Jackets shock Lake Erie in final seconds

HIGHLIGHTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Benjamin Carman scored with five seconds remaining as Cedarville stunned Lake Erie, 1-0, before 1,150 fans in the annual Homecoming game.

Jackson Isaacs threaded a long pass between two Storm defenders and Carman ran it down before placing a left-footed shot inside the right post.

It was the team-leading seventh goal of the season for the junior forward.

Lake Erie outshot the home team 11-6 overall and had a 10-1 margin in corner kicks.

Each team placed three shots on goal. Eben Dewhurst made three saves in posting his second shutout of the campaign.
