HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Megan McClish tucked in a goal in the 87th minute to give the Lady Jackets a tough 1-0 G-MAC result over pesky Lake Erie.
Cedarville, 5-4-2 overall and 4-2-1 G-MAC, played its first game on campus after the first two home contests were moved to Wright State because of wet field conditions.
McClish, who is the reigning G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year, got loose in the box to score the winner.
The senior midfielder took a pass from
Becca Schulenburg, spun around a defender, and put a low shot across the goal inside the left post.
The Jackets outshot the visitors 22-3 overall and 7-2 on goal.
Brooke Ackley played the first 45 minutes in the nets with
Kaelan Swallow taking the second half. Each keeper made one save.
The two teams meet again at Lake Erie on October 19.
