HILLSDALE, Mich. - Hillsdale shot nearly 60 percent from the field through the first three quarters during a 86-62 G-MAC result over the Jackets at the Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena.
Kat Weakley poured in 15 of her team-high 18 points in the second half to go along with a career-high five steals.
KaCee Kyle scored 13 points and
Brianna Zajicek added ten for Cedarville, 5-17 overall and 3-12 G-MAC.
Leah Butterbaugh matched her career-high of six assists for the second straight game.
The Chargers hot shooting produced a 21-point lead by halftime and a 65-38 difference heading into the fourth period.
STINGER NOTES:
- Weakley hit double figures for the fourth time in the last six games.
- In the last four games, Kyle is averaging 12.3 ppg and shooting .500 from the field.
- Cedarville entered the contest with just seven players from the varsity roster available due to injuries.
- Audrey Giesige and Macklin Hanley made their debuts after being moved up from the JV team.
- CU plays the next four games at home vs. Findlay, Kentucky Wesleyan, Trevecca, and No. 1 ranked Ashland.
