CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville began the home schedule by pulling out back-to-back ten-inning triumphs over Thomas More in the G-MAC openers for both schools.
The Lady Jackets posted 2-1 and 3-2 victories to increase their winning streak to four straight.
In the first game,
Kaley Clark's bloop single to right field scored
Jordan Berry with the winner after CU held the Saints scoreless.
The G-MAC utilizes the international tiebreaker (placing a base runner on second base) once conference games reach the tenth inning.
Casey Bertke, 5-6, went the distance in the circle with 11 strikeouts and no walks while
Faith Bergner recorded two of the team's six hits.
The Jackets prevailed in the second game when
Dana Bertke's single to right field scored Berry with the winner.
Casey Bertke tallied three hits.
Adaline Johnson,
Stephanie Stubblefield, and
Mackenzie Russell combined for a one-hitter.
Johnson tossed the first nine innings and recorded eight strikeouts for Cedarville, 9-16 overall.
