ASHLAND, Ohio - Cedarville rallied in the seventh inning for a 2-1 victory in the first game of a G-MAC twinbill at Ashland.
The host Eagles took the second game at the Archer Complex, 6-2.
Ashland broke a scoreless tie in the opener with a home run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Lady Jackets bounced back in the seventh when
Mariah Wallace reached base on an error with one out.
Dana Bertke tripled to the gap in left center to score pinch runner
Alayna Griffing and
Casey Bertke brought home the go ahead run on a sacrifice fly.
Casey Bertke, 7-6, went the distance in the circle with six strikeouts and no walks in winning her fifth consecutive decision.
Kaley Clark and
Camryn Taktak added two hits apiece.
Ashland never trailed in the second game after building a 3-0 lead through three innings.
Mackenzie Russell tallied an RBI groundout and
Faith Bergner hammered her first homer of the season and seventh of her career.
Dana Bertke added two hits for Cedarville, 11-18 overall and 4-2 G-MAC.
